Good morning, we have a need to track log ins and changes to printers in a print server.
Say we have a Windows 2008 R2 server with print queues consisting of 45 networked printers. Someone logs in and picks one printer only. Then he/she opens the property tab and changes the printer from Black and White settings to Colour. Or could change the port properties from LPR to 9100 HP type.
In other words, we want to know who might have done changes to any printer’s property at any time that may cause problems later. This could happen inadvertently or on purpose.
Anyone has got any ideas ?
